ProSET 6.7 “PHA & Report Generation Update” Released

ProSET has been updated with new PHA tools and vastly improved report generation speed, plus a few other improvements.

If you have Custom Report Templates or use the Default Templates stored in a Custom folder on your machine, please download them again from the Downloads area or Contact Support.

Copy & Cut

You can now copy and cut PHA Causes and Consequences, including across Nodes and Deviations.

Selecting Copy or Cut marks the Cause(s) or Consequence(s) with a red border. You can select multiples by using Ctrl. You can then paste, either above or below a selected row.

Note that multiple Consequences can only be selected within the same parent Cause. You can not select Consequences across multiple Causes.

You can also paste from the “+” Add button. This is particularly important when there are no Causes or Consequences.

Reorder Table Rows

You can now reorder the table rows, for example, if you add a new row to a table you can move it up to sit alongside a similar row.

We’ve only applied this to PHA Comp and its settings for now:

• Nodes
• Deviations
• Risk Ranking (Consequence Categories, Severities, Likelihoods, Result Levels)

You can select multiples by using Ctrl and Shift. Note that the table must be ordered by the # (Rank) column. If ordered by another column the Move Up and Move Down buttons are disabled.

Add Multiple Existing Safeguards/Actions/IPLs

To speed up using existing Safeguards, Actions or IPLs you can now use Ctrl and Shift to select multiples.

PHA ID

PHA Comp now has auto generated PHA IDs. The ID is:
Node Rank . Deviation Rank . Cause Rank . Consequence Rank

ie.

1.2.3.1 = Node 1, Deviation 2, Cause 3 in the 2nd Deviation, Consequence 1 on the 3rd Cause

Note the Deviation Rank is now shown in the heading with the Deviation text to clarify how it applies to the PHA ID.

Also note that the Ranks renumber when rows are deleted or moved (via cut & paste).

Node Assessment Page Layout Options

You can now turn columns on and off in the node assessment page.

You can show/hide:

• PHA IDs
• The Cause and Consequence Column Ranks (that contribute the PHA ID)
• Risk Ranking Before and After Safeguards (If you are not Risk Ranking in your project)
• The Requires SIL Determination column (If you are not LOPAing in your project)
• Turn the Actions column into a Simplified view where only the Action ID is shown and the other details can be seen with the mouseover

Zooming

You can now zoom in and out within ProSET.

Note that the larger zoom sizes break the layout in certain areas if the ProSET window is small. We’ve left this as is to allow zooming if needed by be aware that some layouts can look off.

Additional PHA updates

Updated the Used Text function to add options to Add, Replace or Copy the text to the TextBox.

Show Consequence Category in Used Text popup to help distinguish between Safety, Environment, etc Consequence texts

In PHA details page show if this Deviation is considered assessed – and show in drop down

The Risk Matrix edit now requires you to edit the Consequence texts either by the Consequence Category page (ie. Edit all of the Safety Consequence texts via the Safety Consequence Category page) or via the Severity page (ie. Edit all of the Minor Consequence texts via the Minor Severity page)

You can now import Deviations from a CSV file, allowing easy switching between PHA types (HAZOP, HAZID, Cyber Security Risk Assessment, etc).
